~ World Sight Day ~

The 'World Sight Day' exhibition was held on October 17th at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex BSB. The exhibition was launched by the guest of honour, the MoE Head Director Dk Hjh Mastoli PSI Pg Hj Ismail.

This event was held annually. The theme for this year was "Vision 2020 : The Right to Sight". It was organised by the Special Education Unit at the Ministry of Education.

Olympic Day Run 2010

The event was on Sunday June 20th which was held at the Indoor Stadium. It was launched by the HRH Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, President of Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council. So some Sports School students joined the sweating event....

SS Open Day Part 1

Last month the Sekolah Sukan 'Open Day' was held on 28th - 30th. Lots of people / parents and students from other schools visit the new permanent building of Sekolah Sukan. During those 'open days', a few students did join the sports talent identification, some were OK, some not :). So if the students were chosen, they will be joining the Sekolah Sukan.

So below were some photos taken by two of my colleagues (thanks to Cg.Azmi & Cg.Irwan) and a bit of me.... enjoy!

@ Wasai Batu Mapan

Sunday March 7th, Sports School students and staff went to Wasai Batu Mapan (Jln. Sg. Burong) at Kg Padnunuk in Lamunin Area. It was a recreational activity for us, after the 1st Monthly Test, to release all the fatigues, stressfulness with school work... it was a great weekend away :)

Sports School won the Category B in Zone 1 Football match on March 3rd at the SOAS College Field against SMJA, congratulation...!
It was my first time taking some photos in this football match. Luckily i used two cameras (D70s and D5000).

~ EOS ~

Tuesday... it just like other day, not much of different ~ working day. But today around 8am, one of my colleague went to see me - and he asked me whether I'm available to go to 'so called' seminar heee... @ Sheraton Utama Hotel from 9am till 12pm.
He couldn't go, so i went - the "Photography Through EOS Viewfinder" Seminar. Talked all about Canon. Yeap, CANON vs NIKON... yeap it showed the advantages and disadvantages on both cameras. Nikon photographers were invited. So a few Nikon user were attending the seminar - hmm all i can say here, 'us' Nikon user feel offended, but its okay. Anyway, 'sabar saja' - both are 'GOOD' cameras and 'produce' good beautiful quality photos - solute to both.

Since February 7th, my family been busy preparing food (buffet and food pack) for the National Day celebration, starting from flag rising till the actual event.

Kayakthon

This event took place on December 13th at Pusat Belia BSB. The event was organised by the JBS (Jabatan Belia dan Sukan). The purposed of the Kayakthon was to raise some money and collect donation from the Kg. Ayer people for the victim of the Indonesia's Earthquake and Philippine's typhoon.

On the next morning (22nd Nov), we took off from Tg.Pelompong around 8 am. The sky looked promising that day... luckily, no rain. My anchor partner, Afifi was ready to kayak, really thanks to him for all the support that he gave me :)...

At last we arrived almost noon. It was really damn tiring... Allah saja yang tau... but despite the fatique, i had a feel that im going to enjoy the kayak. On the arrival, we (the boys) had to brought up the kayak from the shore and put it on the trailler. Then all of us had to clean up all the gears that we used during camping at the OBB center.

@ Bukit Bujang Pahang

Nov 24th, a few selected teachers / coaches and students went to Bukit Bujang Pahang in Kg.Menunggul. The hiking expedition lead by Cg. Hj Tahir. Wow, the route to the top was slippery especially when all of trying to get back down the hill... heee i did fall :p

Majlis Qurban 1430H

On Nov 28th, we had Aidil Adha catering at Sg.Mau in Sg.Liang Belait. There i witnessed two buffaloes been 'qurban' ...

~ Kayak Pt.1 ~

On Nov 21st - 22nd, for the 1st time i went kayak from Serasa beach to Tg.Pelompong. About 18 students and 6 teachers from Sports School went for kayak. It was really enjoyable but at the same time very tiring.

After all the tiredness and fatigue, I'm joining again the 'kayakthon' this Dec 13th organized by the JBS..... hmm......

Merimbun & Wasai Bedanu

After the aerobic session at the Pantai Seri Kenangan, we went outing, since we were in Tutong area, so i took them to Tasek Merimbun and Wasai Bedanu Recreational Park.

At Tasek Merimbun, we had to pay $1.00 to cross the bridge... then we spent about half an hour there, coz it was hot :).

Then before we went home (Kg.Pengkalan Batu - my home), we visit the wasai. It was a long way to go there. We went there during raining season, so the route (200m) to the wasai was slippery.
